Ventura County Honor Band
Ventura County Honor Bands are made up of middle and high school students from public and private schools across Ventura County. Students in grades 6-12 audition every December to earn a place in one of the Ventura County Honor Band's two ensembles. The students that are selected to participate get to work with other similarly motivated and talented kids in preparing musically challenging repertoire for a concert presented each February.
Fillmore's music department has had students qualify many years now to participate in these ensembles. We are very proud of our FMS musicians who work so hard to elevate their playing level to achieve this honor and represent our school and our community at this local level.
