String Orchestra – I
This course is for all students in their first or second year of music. Students at any level are welcome. They will either learn their instrument (Violin, Viola, Cello) or refine what they know to prepare them for String Orchestra – II or to enter the High School Music program by the end of the year. They will perform at the Winter and Spring concerts, available Festival performances, and various other opportunities around Fillmore. String Orchestra – II This elite group is the premier Orchestral students of the music department. Large Ensemble Orchestra, at least 1 year of elementary or 1 year of MS band experience required, many off-campus performances and special trips during the school year. Repertoire and performances will include Chamber Groups (Small Ensembles) as well as performing with String Orchestra – I. They are one of the ensembles representing the Bulldog Bands in many opportunities to travel and perform out of the area!
